• Why Acrilic I work primarily with the acrylic resin because I paint much in the moment, even if it often sometimes happens to me to reflect a long time in advance in a table. This last resembles besides seldom that conceived in my head because the feelings and from day to day felt emotions are very fluctuating. Why thus acrylic resin? Undoubtedly because I was born with it. It appeared in France in the years 1960. It is a contemporary painting, the fruit of a research on the binders and the pictorial matter most modern currently. Its time of exceptional drying is appropriate to me because I like to work by impulse, by feeling. What does not prevent me from working over again the fabric still and still, until it really speaks to me. The acrylic resin gets a myriad of possibilities in the construction of work. One can as well obtain pastings giving of the effects of reliefs as a remarkable transparency by diluting the acrylic resin with water. One can thus have very beautiful glacis and while diluting still more, to obtain a fabric close to the watercolour. I found in the acrylic resin a painting which corresponds well to my work. For me each fabric is a writing and as for any scriptural improvisation, I need to pose my subject of continuation. Then, I work over again the fabric. That can last a long time, of the weeks, even of the months, as it can be finished in a few hours. I know with the instinct when it finished. Sometimes it is enough to a detail of three times nothing, a small blow of claw in a corner of the table or a point of color, but as long as I did not find, the table does not vibrate. |
